Green

Green is the colour of nature's grass and trees , many different shades of green from dark to light , colours of cars in the junk yards ready for crushing into scrap metal , dark green enviro waste rubbish bins/recycling bins out on the footpath ready for collecting , green is the colour of kiwifruit ready to be bitten into so you can get the juicy taste from the middle of it.

Kapiti Island

How Kapiti island was made

On the 8th of may nineteen fifty three people wanted an island so so badly people would die for it. People wanted a nature reserve and  fabulous wildlife like the distinctive lime milkshake so one day there were two alligators and one giant. He had a potion that could turn things into an island. The two alligators were fighting with each other and they were brothers , but they weren't fist fighting it was word fighting. Then all of a sudden a god named Motus came out of the ocean and yelled at the top of his voice and said “why are you fighting? You shouldn't be doing this during the working time for you alligators”. He was yelling, “this is unacceptable from you two” so he thinks up a solution to sort it out and make sure that it will never happen again. But then she figured it out she will turn one of them into an island and call him Kapiti Island. So he got his potion out and turned one of them into an island and that's how Kapiti Island came to be.

How sand was made

Well millions of people fly overseas on a plane to different places in the world for instance Hawaii , Fiji , Rarotonga and other places. But any way on to the real story one day there were two planes flying at the altitude of 37 , 000 suddenly there radar from the crash sensor went off.  Then that also happened with the other plane Five minutes later they had a head on collision which caused them to blow up in mid air no one survived. They recovered four bodies from both planes. Then they became sand which we all play in at the beach.

Safest airline in the world

Most people think that there countries airline is the safest but some people are wrong I believed that air nz was the safest but indeed it's not. Now I know that the safest airline in the world is indeed emirates. Also the safest type of emirates is the airbus A380 and I have actually been on an A380 from Qantas. The meals on the plane were “ amazing “ there was roast chicken , roast beef , roast pork and many other things. We also got some snacks like chicken , ready salted & salt & vinegar chips from bluebird there were also drinks like coffee , hot chocolate , green tea , red tea , wine and soft drinks. It was a 13 hour trip and the seats can fold down into a bed the & also they were leather so they were very very very very comfy. It was an awesome flight.

How sand was made

Well as millions of people know England invented football.

So that's where my idea came from is that the English and the German had a football match every year on the 9/6/ each year.

So whenever they played each other the would argue over who was meant to bring the ball but luckily they found rocks. But there was one problem the players didn't have the right boots so the got boots custom made for them to kick the rock. Now that they have there custom made boots for the games so every time they kicked the rock little particles made sand and that's how I think sand was made.

All blacks tour.

The holiday in Argentina

During the holidays my aunty went to the capital of  argentina buenos aires for an all blacks tour. She was over there for a week and a half  she took stuff over there and got autographs from the all blacks. The coach Steve hansen also did something on it he wrote to Kieran “ chase your dreams & go where they take you. I also got five argentineans to sign it two coaches and three players it was awesome I also got the tour bag an air new zealand pen and a toiletry bag.

Today I learnt to play a board game that I`ve never heard of. I also learnt how to do a cartwheel and a somersault at gym on thursday. There was one more thing that I learnt but I can't remember it.

Moving class.

Moving classroom

On the 19th of september we moved class there were 4 rooms moving. My class was the last one to move we helped move to rm 19 from rm 6. We had 4 or 5 removal guys come from Kapiti removals one of them gave me a hi five. In total it was 45 minutes to move our whole class from one to the other. Then we had to get some furniture into our new/old for some people after we had morning tea. After we went to the wizard of oz show at Paraparaumu college it was a good show some parts were very well done. Mr corlett stayed behind to set the rest of the class up.

pocket money

That pocket  money should be earned.

I think that pocket money should be earned if you work for it. I do the lawns for ten dollars every weekend and I vacuum , dust , clean the bathrooms , take the rubbish out to the wheelie bin and hang the washing out on fine days. For doing that I get another thirty dollars which ads up to forty dollars.

But some people may not like doing that even though it earns you money to save up for something good. But to some  people it may not be the best way to earn money to put into your piggy bank. I believe that it would a good way to earn money though. Some the ways people earn money are weird  because there jobs are peculiar.

most important thing in your life

Most important things in your life.

What are the most important things in your life mine is health , sport and family. Everyday I would visit my family if I didn't have a football game or practice. I would go to the gym for two hours thirty  minutes  and work out also I would probably do weight lifting , exercycle , situps and air rower. I would be on a special diet with lots of healthy fruit and vegetables or a drink called v8 juice.

There would also be some electronics involved in it also there would be a fitbit which tracks your heart rate , how many floors you've climbed , steps you've  done and your calories burned. It would be used at football training and the gym it could also be used for when I go for a run or a walk.

What is the best superpower you could ever have in your whole life mine would be flying, supersonic speed and powers to catch whatever pokemon you want.When you get the power of flying you can fly everywhere you need to go.Supersonic speed can make you very fast so if you're late for school you could just run as you can see. But in other words some people can get very dizzy. With flying though you could use whatever speed you wanted. For instance you could go fast if you're on a mission or something.

On Thursday the 30th of June rm6 students went to Waikanae water treatment plant in Reikorangi we caught a Kapiti coach tours bus to the plant. When we got there one of the people came to greet us his name was Dave he told us all the health and safety hazards. Here are some of them there is corrosive acid,non breathable and quit a few others. Then we got divided into two groups I was in group 1 with Stase,Josh mc,Olivia,Georgia and Nikki. The first thing my group did was go to the Swale tank buried in the grass then we went to a platform that hung over the river. My whole group got a surprise when we seen two brown trout swimming in one spot but we had to be quiet to see them. Mr Corlett took some photos of them as well then we moved on to inside the building. First Dave told us about the machinery that they use the water cleaner machine was 140 thousand dollars in total all the machinery was 40 million dollars. That doesn't include the building they said they want the building to last 150 years. Then that was the end of the tour.

Whareroa farm

Whareroa Farm

On friday the 17th rm6 and rm18 went to Whareroa farm at mackays crossing. When we got there a lady with an axe came onto the bus and said to each group a,b,c and d to get off the bus. Then we meet in a shed so that the lady could talk to us about the farm. The other name for it is a catchment. After that we went to do our activities first my group did the mountain walk. Then our next activity was the stream testing which is where we had to measure the temperature of the stream. The stream was 11 degrees celsius on my thermometer once we did that we all had to get a very fine fishing net and a tray to get critters out of the stream. We also had to buddy up my buddy was Flynn we found a centipede looking thing and named it bob.I also got my gumboot wet because we fell in when I was piggy backing Flynn. Finally our last activity was orientering I worked with six people. We got all fifteen letters that we needed.

Pharazyn reserve

Pharazyn reserve

On the 9th of june rm6 and 10 children from rm19 went to Pharazyn reserve in Waikanae we all got there by bus on the way there I sat next to Josh t all we did was chat away until we got there.

Finally when we got there we pushed and shoved off the bus after all that ruckus Rob the oldest man talked to us and told us about the reserve. Next he showed us a tutorial of how to plant the tree Then we got stuck into it we had to partner up my partners were Jack u and wyatt. We planted 7 trees then the group had to meet at the meeting area.

Then Rob told us to follow him down a gravel pathway so we did. When we all got to the spot he wanted to show us I Stopped he told us some of the reserves animals. Then we walked back to where the bus was waiting for us. Then we all said goodbye to the people that helped us once we had done that I got back on the bus and came back to school.

He has sparkling green eyes in the darkness.

Inky hisses when he`s angry about something.

He has sleek shiny black fur.

Like a minimized Bagheera from jungle book.

Inky is a sly black devil when he can get his paws

into food.

He can occasionally eat like a pig.

Tawny

Tawny is a tabby colour with black stripes all around her body. Tawny is seven my family got her from the Waikanae  SPCA when she was a kitten. She now has grown up and likes to fight with her brother Inky and the neighbours cat which is when she likes to puff her tail up into a big round circle... some of the other things she loves to do is chase birds, butterflies and most other insects around our house. She also likes to look after her brother and have a nosy at the 2 rabbits we have which are sugar and spice. Tawny is one of a kind because she only cuddles with my mum on the chair it`s only occasionally she will cuddle with me on the chair.

Today I learnt how to do some reading comprehension. It is quite fun to do but there are some things that don`t make sense in the sentence`s of the stories I read. One of the other things I learnt to do was geometrical shapes.
